Of course, we used our short stop in Cologne to visit the famous Cologne Cathedral. As soon as we left the station, the enormous towers rose majestically into the sky. The Gothic architecture looked both stunning and fascinating. Inside, the atmosphere felt calm and special. The colorful stained-glass windows filled the cathedral with beautiful light. Many tourists admired the countless historical details of the church. The high ceilings and artistic decorations were especially impressive. Cologne Cathedral is one of Germany’s most famous landmarks and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Even though the visit was short, it became one of the highlights of the trip.
