• 🕌Sabancı Central Mosque

    August 31, 2018 in Turkey ⋅ ☀️ 32 °C

In the late afternoon, we visited the magnificent Sabancı Central Mosque in Adana. It is one of the largest mosques in Turkey and a defining landmark of the city. Its six towering minarets are visible from afar. The architecture combines classical Ottoman design with modern influences. Inside, we were impressed by the mosque's immense size, elegant decorations, and grand dome. The complex is located along the Seyhan River, creating a beautiful setting. Many visitors come to admire the architecture or enjoy a moment of peace. The surrounding gardens are well maintained and perfect for a stroll. In the afternoon light, the building looked especially majestic. Visiting this landmark was one of the most impressive architectural experiences of our trip.
