🕌Selimiye Mosque

The Selimiye Mosque is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in the 16th century by the famous architect Mimar Sinan. The massive dome and four elegant minarets dominate the skyline of Edirne. Inside, delicate tiles, calligraphy and impressive acoustics can be admired.
