I was visiting Iran for almost four weeks.
Within this days of course the current political situation incl. protests were a big conversation topic. Fortunetly I never got into trouble or situations where I had bad feelings.
Overall my time in Iran was very interesting. On all my journeys until now I was lucky and met really nice people. But the hospitality which I received in Iran was on another level. In every region the people were very friendly to me and told me that they where really happy to meet tourists.
When I had a problem for e.g. with my motorcycle or even only wanted to know the right direction, the most people didn't only explained me, they solved my problem instantanously or were guiding me to my destination. It didn't matter for them, if this takes one or two hours of their time. Within my staying I got more than 20 invitations for lunch, coffee, dinner and to stay with them. At some days unfortunately more I was able to join. Also restaurants sometimes didn't accept any payment and only told me I were their guest.Baca selengkapnya
