Sunset in the air

Our flight from Aqaba to Gatwick was very smooth and quicker than scheduled. The added bonus was a beautiful sunset 🌇 as we left Jordan.

I finished my latest book on the flight - the story of three women who helped in refugee camps in Germany in the aftermath of World War II.

Once we landed, we got our bags and were in the Premier Inn North Terminal within 30 minutes. We had a nightcap in the bar and turned it in. We were still on Jordan time so it was 1.30 am!!Read more
