Checking in at Treloan Campsite

We arrived at Treloan Campsite mid-afternoon and met Debs, the owner. She directed us to our pitch and explained that the main facilities are closed for refurbishment. There are alternative limited facilities available.

The site is in a great location right by the sea 🌊. We have sea views from our pitch. The weather was bright but very windy. The wind was blowing straight off the sea, so we decided to pitch Bertha side on to give us some shelter. We put the canopy up but supported it halfway so that it would stay up in the wind!

Once we had set up, we went for a walk around the site. It was bitterly cold in the wind, but the views are amazing! I have to say, we were not impressed with the facilities - they weren't the cleanest, and there was zero heating in there! I'm not looking forward to having a shower!! It was disappointing, especially after the site we'd just left! And this place is £6.50 a night more than Heligan!!Read more
