Whitby Goth Weekend

Whitby Goth Weekend was founded in 1994 by Jo Hampshire and has grown to become one of the world’s premier Goth events. This weekend, the festival was celebrating 30 years of its existence. It attracts visitors from all over the world who come to Whitby to celebrate, show off, people watch, shop, enjoy the entertainment, and generally have a good time. The atmosphere is joyous, the costumes and makeup are stunning (and often outrageous!), and the people are all so friendly.
