Bamburgh Village

After visiting the castle, we walked up to the village, pausing to watch a cricket match on the sports field on the way. We also stopped for a drink in one of the village's many pubs.

Bamburgh is a pretty village that has been in existence as long as there has been a castle here. In the early middle ages, it was one of the most prosperous towns in England with a market and a Member of Parliament.Læs mere
