South Causey Inn

We had booked a two-night stopover in a pub near Beamish. It turned out to be a great choice! We paid £25 per night, but got £20 back each night in the form of a voucher to spend in the bar or restaurant. We chose to spend our vouchers on breakfast and took food on the van with us to eat in the evenings.

When we arrived, the place was really busy. There were two weddings going on and lots of other people enjoying food and drinks in the beautiful gardens in the sunshine.. There were several quirky bars and socialising spaces to explore. We went to park up and then found a nice sunny spot to sit with a drink and people watch for a while before dinner.Read more
