The main isle of Uros and on to Taquila

On the main island, we could buy drinks and snacks if we wished, or just use the bathroom.  We had a few minutes to look around before we headed off to the island of Taquile, about an hour and a quarter away.

On Taquile, we had the option of a 90-minute hike, or a 30-minute walk to reach the restaurant where we were having lunch.  Given the altitude, about half of us opted for the shorter walk.  What Freddie failed to mention, though, was that the 'walk' was more of a very steep climb!Read more
