Breakfast and exploring Uyuni

We didn’t sleep well again!  We were both still very tired when we got up for breakfast at 8am.  Breakfast was excellent!  It was buffet style with more choice than we have ever had, including omelettes, sautéed potatoes, tomatoes, different cooked meats, fruit, yoghurt, homemade muffins, toast, bread rolls, homemade jams, juice, and coffee. 

After eating, we had time to go and explore the town a little.  We were early, so not everything was open.  They were just setting up a street market, which looked like it was going to be good.  We couldn’t linger, though, as we had booked a day trip to the salt flats, and we had to get back to the hotel for the pick-up time.Read more
