Heading to Lago Pehoe Campsite

All of the other day hikers got back in time, so we were able to head to the campsite. We only had 35 kilometres to go, but Ritchie warned us that it would take a while as it was all going to be on unmade roads. The scenery on the way was spectacular despite the thick cloud and rain.

We arrived at our campsite at 7.45pm. We found a pitch under a shelter to protect us from any wind and rain. Nikki cooked a quick dinner of bought vegetarian ravioli and readymade tomato sauce supplemented with vegetables. It was very good. By the time we had eaten and washed up, it was gone 10pm!
