A wet day on site

I was up at 7.30am to start preparing breakfast for everyone.  We made huevos pericos and toast which proved very popular.  Unfortunately, just as we were finishing cooking, the heavens opened and there was a mad scramble to get the canopy out to provide us all with some cover.  It was the first time we had needed to use it on the trip, so it stank to high heaven as we unrolled it due to all the water trapped inside it!  Because of the weather, some people didn't come to breakfast until 40 minutes after the time we had given.  By then, we had finished serving and were packing away.  They weren't impressed!  The lesson is - don't be late for breakfast!!

The rain continued all day!  It was such a shame after the glorious day we had yesterday.  There was very little to do in our location, so most people spent the day in their tents or on the truck.  We sat on the truck catching up with notes, doing posts, and chatting to people.
