Rosie's Kickass Pizza

There are so many small towns barely making it in the USA that it can be touch and go to find a place to eat. Haukur and I rode up and down the streets of Corrizozo until he noticed that one small house seemed to be a shop of some kind or the other.

So we got off our bike to take a look. To our surprise, we opened the door to find ourselves in the living and dining rooms of the cottage. Moving on was a 1950's-style, eat-in kitchen where artisan pizzas, and homemade brownies and chocolate chip cookies were being made.

Hats off to the owners/cooks (see picture). It's a stop that's worth a detour.
