Ozark Trail obelisk

The Stroud oblisk is a 21-foot-tall concrete obelisk, one of the only two surviving original Ozark Trail obelisks in Oklahoma. Originally erected in downtown Stroud along the intersection of Highway 66 and Highway 99, it was moved to its current offroad location because it had become a traffic hazard when vehicular traffic increased in the late 1920s.  😄Read more
