The glass walls of the restaurant are decorated with shelves of over 700 different types of soda pop bottles arranged by beverage color. Many of the bottles are rare or otherwise difficult to obtain. On the morning of April 19, 1995, an ex-Army soldier and security guard named Timothy McVeigh parked a rented Ryder truck in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City.

Within moments, the surrounding area looked like a war zone. A third of the building had been reduced to rubble, with many floors flattened like pancakes. Dozens of cars were incinerated, and more than 300 nearby buildings were damaged or destroyed.

The pictures shown around the world were heartbreaking. particularly of the children who were lost.

They've done a good job with the memorial. It is beautiful, serene, and thought-provoking.Læs mere

In 1960, it was renamed Lindy's Diner, but the classic dishes and vintage atmosphere lived on. As best I can understand, there was a lot of stuff on the property, and they continued to hoard whatever they found.

Stuff is laying around everywhere. You can pick up whatever you like and take a good look at the contraptions. For instance, a 1917 motiograph, an old switchboard ...

Take a look at the 1929 Oakland with original wood-spoked tires.
