Mt Aspiring National Park, New Zealand

    November 5, 2017 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 46 °F

We had a busy day exploring Mt Aspiring National Park! So much water here. Everywhere you look, there are water falls cascading down mountain sides (lots of those too!) or gorgeous lakes. Today we drove through rain, snow, more rain, hail, even more rain, crossed two mountain passes, drove from the mountains to the sea...and ended up near a glacier (Fox Glacier). There are glow worms in the vicinity, which Lexi and I are both dying to see...but after being wet and cold most of the day, we're in for the night. Tomorrow is glacier day...both Fox and Franz Josef...then maybe glow worms tomorrow night. Goodnight peeps!Read more
