Glacierland! We started by hiking up to view Fox Glacier close up...in the pouring rain, but we were determined! The time was worth it, although the last 400 metres felt straight up...whew! Luckily, we weren't carried away by flash floods along the way.Read more

TravelerIt's actually not far...a little less than a mile in total. Just steep at the end, with "no stopping (due to rock falls) the last 400 meters.
