Wandering the French Quarter

Lovely day today wandering the French Quarter. After a lazy morning, fueled up on tasty Bloody Marys from my new friend Rachel, the bartender, and scrumptious Shrimp and Grits. YUM! Had so much fun exploring the art and flavor of the city, got to see a paddleboat on the Mississippi (totally thinking about Mark Twain at the time) and popped into Harrah's to have some fun for a while. The Walking Dead paintings I saw evidently were good luck for me, as the Walking Dead slot machine that I played as a last stop before leaving...well...paid for my trip.Read more
