Day 1: Friends & Fort Walton Beach

Day 1 in the books and it was a fantastic start to this adventure! After picking Cheryl up from the airport, off we went to Gainesville to brunch with a friend who plied us with bacon, amazing toast and stocked us up with road trip goodies. Then off to Fort Walton Beach for our first night on the road. Beautiful views and the most amazing food! Be sure to stop at Stewby's Seafood Shack if you're in the neighborhood...
