Day 4: Contact & the ghost of Smokey

Tuesday's main adventure was to get our geek on at the Very Large Array (yes, they did film scenes from Contact there). Along the way, we found the actual birthplace (and grave) of Smokey the Bear. I thought he was a fictional character! And then we saw a sign for a ghost mining town up the side of a mountain. Why wouldn't we go check it out?!En savoir plus
