US War Memorial (Guadalcanal)

Started our last day on Guadalcanal with a 7 Kms hike around town with some new friends. Then quickly cleaned up, packed, and headed off to the airport. On the way, we had the opportunity to stop at the US War Memorial. Very impressive. Also got a look down on the landing beaches used by the Marines to assault the island on 7 Aug 1942.もっと詳しく
