District of Columbia H4 Trail #2127

Dropping into hash Megacenters has good benefits, many trails to choose from. Just like last week up in New Jersey, I was able to sneak in a second hash trail today with the DCH4. Some locals may not even realize, but the DCH4 is one of the oldest hash clubs in the USA, first setting trail on 21 May 1978. (I will be enumerating more on this next week when I send out my monthly sleepy time reader). This trail was also an excellent urban shiggy adventure in the Northern Virginia undergrowth, zipping in and out of neighborhoods and finding many dirt paths and pass throughs between housing areas. We only saw about a dozen hashers while we were in the area, but likely many more had the opportunity to find their way along this well laid trail. This was my fourth trail in the area over the past week, all of which on average, I have not hashed with in over 20 years. Great to catch up with old friends, and run through areas that were much less crowded when I was last here.
