Daytona 500 Weekend

I actually skipped a couple hash runs to join a bunch of hash friends over on the east coast for the Daytona 500. It was 3 days of eatin', drinkin', and racin'. We got rained on a bit, watched 4 races (Trucks, Arca, Xfinity, and the Big One). This was my first time to see it live. I used to be a big time NASCAR fan for over 25 years, starting in the mid 70s when Richard Petty was King, and this young upstart named Dale Earnhardt was just getting started. The day Dale died on the track (20 years ago right at the end of the Daytona 500) was when I stopped watching it. They put on a nice tribute to him on the 20 anniversary of his untimely passing.
