• On the road from Syracuse to Stowe

    August 9, 2022 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

Yesterday was a 6 hour drive from Syracuse, NY to Stowe, VT for the next hashing adventure. It was 250 miles of beautiful forested mostly two lane backroads, passing through many cool little towns in upstate New York. The final hour or so was through similar roads in Vermont.

Stowe is actually a winter ski haven, but has also become a summer getaway region with tons of hiking trails and craft breweries, small shops, and various restaurants. Very nice area to hang out for a couples days, while I get the opportunity to hash with the Burlington H3 tonight, about an hour away. More on that tomorrow after the hash.

I probably should have stopped to take more scenic pictures, but in many cases there was no place to pull off the road . . . so all the photos are from behind the wheel.
