My first hash in New Hampshire, and it was a beautiful day for a run in Milford. Overall, it was a great day. The hashers were all super friendly, and our three hares set a great trail over hill and dale . . . but it devolved into a pub crawl. After taking us up the hill on some mountain bike trails to a drink stop, trail then made a sweeping loop back through some shiggy paths in town to another beer stop. From there it crossed a couple sports fields and a stream into the back side of a pub . . . and then it was short hops to more pubs. About 4 miles of trail took us nearly 4 hours to complete.

The on after was hosted by one of the local hashers, not far from trail, where we were treated to PETA certified angus beef and hot dogs, along with the usual picnic fare. Circle however, was mostly a shit show. We had a first time RA stand in taking us through a journey, and it was fine until he decided we needed to conduct a naming. Hours later . . . a name was bestowed on a fine young harriette, and we were released back into the wild. A great day, making many new friends, and even crossing paths with some old ones. Thank you Shuttlecock for the invite to trail, good time in New Hampshire.
