Antarctica Adventure - Day 5

The morning we awoke early from our snowy slumber, repacked our sleeping accoutrement, filled in our holes, and then made our way to the shore for pick up and return to the ship. This was supposed to be our afternoon opportunity to go ashore and assemble for the Thinking Drinking H3 trail, but the weather was not cooperating.

All ashore activity had to be cancelled due to high winds, so I spent the rest of the day relaxing on the ship (which just happened to be my birthday), and sipped a bit of adult beverage. The second half of the passengers had their opportunity to camp, and they repeated the whole process we had done the night before.
