Flight Cancelled, but finally in FLL

After waiting all day yesterday, my flight was cancelled 4 hours before we were supposed to fly. Spent another night in Managua, and was rescheduled for a 1530 departure today. That flight went off as scheduled, but on arrival in Fort Lauderdale, it was raining . . . and all the drivers appeared to have lost their minds. Traffic was chaos. Finally got to the hotel, which was 3.5 miles away from the airport, not 1 mile like they stated . . . and the shuttle was not running.

Sandwich and a beer, and off to bed. Up at 5 for the return trip to the airport for the final leg into Tampa.Read more
