Sydney Thirsty H3 #1700

Kicking off our prelube cruise to INTERHASH, we had a Red Dress Run with the Sydney Thirsty H3. I have not had a trail with this club since December 1997, just over 26 years ago. As I recall, they had just started, and at that time they called themselves the Thirsty Thursday H3 (and also when I met Haggisimo). Anyway, they now run every Thursday, and one Saturday a month . . . so I guess we caught them on the right Saturday.

We had a large pack, with about 40 from the cruise, and probably another 20-25 local hashers. Trail was through the city, with a long section along the beach, making it an interesting 5.5 miles of fun (with my old ass coming in as FRB). Circle was pretty raucous, and even had a naming. We then adjourned to a local sports facility for food and more beverages, and sang a few songs. A very good start to the prelube.Weiterlesen
