Auckland H3

They normally run on Monday evenings, and are a men only club . . . but this special run for the throngs of arriving hashers headed to Queenstown was an excellent day. I have not run with this club since I was here for the Perth IH prelube back in 2008. Good to be back.

We gathered in the center of town by the Britomart Train Station, where about 50 eventually turned up to take on the streets of Auckland. It was an excellent 8.5 km 'A to B' effort, that passed through a few parks on its way. Three beer stops (four if you do NZ math and you know how to follow the crazy criss-cross marks on trail where you hit the same one twice), kept the pack slowed down, but we eventually made our way to Victoria Park for a sausage barbee and circle.
