Barnes H3 #2018

After the FUBAR down in Guernsey, and rather than spend two days doing nothing there . . . I rebooked my flight to London, and left. Arriving at Gatwick, I headed off to Coulsdon where I had booked a hotel close to the start of the Barnes H3. It was a cool evening, and drizzling rain, but it turned out to be a splendid run through the countryside, with plenty of shiggy.

The hashers of the Barnes H3 are 'older' and mentioned they do not run so much, more walkers . . . but have to wave the BS flag on that. Three of the harriettes were off like a flash, and I could barely keep up. I seemed to always catch up just in time for a check, and they gladly let me run off in the wrong direction almost every time. :) But seriously, they were great fun and we had a nice chat both before and after trail.Read more
