Arrived on Tuesday to do some prep work in order to hare the BB trail on Saturday. Scouted on Wednesday, then went back and set the trail on Thursday. Friday morning I was able to go out on the Thinking Drinking H3 trail out in Paksong, and it was a very good run. Came back Friday evening for the RDR in town. Made an early evening of it, so I could get up early and get things sorted for trail on Saturday.

SATURDAY - Ball Breaker Trail . . . Nearly 40 had signed up to run the BB trail, but after a hard night of partying, only about 20 actually turned up for the run. Bravefart, Flasher, and I teamed up to hare this trail in Laos. The area we were assigned to set trail in had little shade, and it was very hot out at well into the 90 degrees F. The pack took between 3 and 4 hours to roll in from this 20+ km effort.

SUNDAY - Hangover Trail . . . just a short walk through town, but it was a good circle and lunch. Overall, a great event here in Pakse, Laos.Read more
