Druk H3 #4

The hashers from Hyderabad H3 (India) started the Druk Hash (in Bhutan) last year, and it was so successful they set it again for this year. From our hotel in town, we took a bus up the mountainside today to Jigme Dorji National Park for our first hash trail. The long trail continued on up the mountain for a bit, and we got started with a loop that circled our way back down to where the short trail started. From there it was a grueling 800 meter climb up hill, to a temple with an amazing view of the valley.

After a half hour or so of wandering about the temple, we all headed back down the mountain. Trail was only 6 kms, but the 800 meters of climbing was brutal. Once we got back to the buses. we loaded up and went to another part of the park for circle and lunch.

On the way back to town, we stopped for a tour of an art school, and then back for hot showers and rest. Tonight the plan is to do some touring, hit up a craft brewery, then on to dinner. Another great day of hashing.Read more
