Bangkok Monday H3 #2168

Just back from a whirlwind trip up to Japan to celebrate the 1000th running of the Sumo H3, and lacking sleep . . . but it was a hashing day! So off I go . . .

Drunken Donut (with a little help from Sexy Lashes) set an awesome 9 km A to B trail out in Chinatown. As we assembled at the start, the skies looked a bit daunting, and then the wind kicked up with sh*t blowing around everywhere. Looked like rain . . . but fortunately we only got a couple drops. Good thing too, as most of the trail was marked in chalk. Could have been a disaster if it rained.

The pack was held together pretty well, with numerous FT and back checks, through the maze of tiny alleyways and khlong paths we enjoyed in search of the ever awaiting beer cooler at the end.

As the pack reassembled at the end, for Bastille Day, our hares arranged for some French treats of bread, cheese, pate, and wine as we waited for circle to kick off . . . very tasty. Circle was the usual, and then we ended with a fine dinner. Great day on the hash, but a good night's sleep sure made it even better. On On!Baca lagi
