Thai Nash Hash 2025 - BB Trail

It has been a whirlwind of activity the past few days. I was already in Pattaya for several trails last weekend, so was ready to go. They actually opened rego for the Nash Hash on Tuesday, so was first in line to collect my goodie bag, which was full of . . . well, goodies (see the photo).

I was asked to co-hare the BB trail, so on Thursday morning our hare team of three hares set off into the jungle to set trail. Eight hours later, we emerged from the jungle having covered 24 kms of what would turn out to be (20-21 Kms of) an AWESOME trail.

Saturday morning rolled around early, and due to all the rain on Friday, our BB trail needed some touch up, so I was nominated to go out and check up / reset the first half (10 kms worth) on my own. Now, I had only seen this trail once, while we were setting it, so there were a few gaps that I had to reconnect, and it left me guessing in a few instances, but in the end all was well. Only a few of the FRBs passed me just before pulling in to the drink stop. One of the other hares was remarking the second half, and we all met up at the end. The circle was a hoot, with tons of down downs and they were all enjoyed ON THE ICE. We eventually made it back to town for a quick shower and return for the party and dinner. It all was great, EXCEPT . . . they had hired a band that only played Irish Ballads, so while the first couple of songs were interesting, it got old quick and I bolted for the door.
