Bangkok Monday H3 #2225

We are having so much fun here in the rainy season. Fortunately, the rain was only a sprinkle before the trail, but it did not rain on us during the run. We had a rather large pack, with nearly 30 joining in for the fun.

We started at one of the most abused trail starts here in Bangkok, having had so many trails at this spot. BUT, our hares still managed to create a trail that was unique and tricky that kept us guessing throughout. After about 4 kms, we passed by the obvious return route to the start . . . but they sent us in the opposite direction for an additional 4 kms that was just as fun as the first 4 kms . . . yup, trail was just over 8 kms of twists and turns.

The whole pack managed to find their way back, and circle commenced with great enthusiasm. All the usual stuff, but this was a BIRTHDAY trail for our fun loving HOT LIPS, supported by her best friend Pat Pom. They managed to surprise us all day long. Including the circle and follow on dinner. Speaking of the dinner . . . it was unbridled opulence to the 3rd degree. Wine, Whiskey, and at least 5 different birthday cakes. I am going to have to run 75 miles on the side to erase all the crazy sugary treats after the dinner . . . which was over the top as well.Read more
