Split to Dubrovnik

We rented a car for getting from Split to the beautiful and bustling city of Dubrovnik in southern Croatia. The southern Croatian coast is dissected by a 19 kilometer (12 mile) bit of coastline that is a part of the country of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Known as the Neum corridor, its main attraction is the picturesque city of Neum. We made a brief stop there, where I took the video and the first three photos in this post (I couldn’t resist taking a photo of the two nuns soaking their feet in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea). Driving in Dubrovnik is no fun - narrow streets, cars and motorbikes zipping every which way - we were happy to return the car and get around town by foot.
