Victoria and Albert Museum

Victoria and Albert Museum is the second most rated museum after the British Museum. It was created by Prince Albert and was the first museum designed for the "commoners". It was the first museum to serve food and first to have public washrooms. Prince Albert wanted everyone to be inspired by the art and bring that sense of awe back to their everyday work.
The two things that we liked was the real Turner paintings and the casts of Michelangelo's David. Though showing casts in a museum was considered controversial in the days, the casts now have retained better details than the original because of age and weather erosion.Læs mere
