Vatican City

The courtyard of St. Peter’s Basilica took me by awe of how immense the size of the whole Vatican City. It’s basically a country just to host a giant church complex. I went in to checkout what’s inside. And I was lucky enough to witness the pope walking to the altar as they’re having an afternoon service that day. I felt totally lost admiring the majestic architecture of the Basilica which I used to see on my parents old television when I was a kid every morning on Christmas day. Being in one of the most sacred place for the Catholic made me feel so spiritual all of the sudden and also after seeing a few places where they do all the exorcism in vatican it gives me chill of how close I was to the center of world’s attention back in the day.

I left St. Peter’s basilica to my photo spot over the bridge overlooking the basilica which I scouted earlier and left my camera doing it’s work as I gaze through the scene of flowing water and sounds of birds making their way through the orange-glow sky slowly fading into light blue with St. Peter’s light iluminating the surrounding neighborhood.Baca lagi
