Today we were on a bus tour of the entire city. It has a population of 2.5 million people. There are 11 million total in Cuba. A lot of buildings in total disrepair. Not a lot of new construction anywhere. Steve asked one of the car owners to show him the engine. Steve said us is literally held together with baling wire. We visited Christopher Columbus cemetery. That black truck you see is the hearse, but all funerals are free. Well, for 3 years anyway. . .then you have to dig your family member up and put them somewhere else.Read more
