Down down down!

The first 1000 ft of the descent from the Giant Forest were still in the shade and potentially icy so we proceeded slowly. The ride down the rest of the crazy switchbacks below Moro Rock was a lot of fun and we had lunch on green grass against a warm rock to celebrate our return to warmer climes. We continued to decend gradually all the way through Three Rivers and past Lake Kaweah (yet another depleted man made reservoir) to Lemon Cove, where we were once again riding through groves of citrus trees just 50 km from the snow that keeps them watered.Read more
