One Last Desert Ride

We were worried about holiday traffic on the 24th so we got an early start for the ride into La Paz. We climbed more than expected, but there were some nice sections of new pavement and we were rewarded with a great view of (and descent to) La Paz, so arrived before noon and ate our lunch with a harbour view along the Malecon. The traffic wasn't bad, although we did see a few people with car trouble along the way - I think this Santa-mobile had a harder time on the hills than we did.Read more
