Bye Bye Baja

We finally said goodbye to La Paz and the Baja on January 3rd, as we rode out of town to the confusing ferry terminal (not at all like the well-signed and controlled ferry terminals we are used to back home!). We were lucky to have the company of 6 other cyclists (4 friends from New Years in La Ventana, and Francios and Helen, a French couple also from Whitehorse!) for the 22 hour ride across to Mazatlan. We didn't get a lot of sleep since none of us paid for a cabin, and so had to find a spot in the movie theatre to make a bed for the night. Regardless, it was a nice cruise complete with sunsets and whale sightings, movies and fun chats.Baca selengkapnya
