    We had our first true "wild camp" in mainland Mexico beside a mango orchard on the banks of the Rio Grande at ~650 m, and from there began the biggest one-day climb any of us have done so far on this trip to 2336 m. Again the scenery was beautiful, the traffic very low, even the weather was cool and perfect for climbing, but we were all very happy when we finally rolled over the summit after 5 hours of steady climbing.Read more
