Estuaries and Train Time

We hummed and hawed about what to do with the continued strong winds, and ultimately decided to carry on along the coastal route, albeit slowly. We biked along large 'etangs', or estuaries, to Leucate, and finally decided to hop on a train to skip ahead given our slow progress in the wind. The 35 km bump put us in Narbonne, where we rented an apartment for the night with a terrasse, and enjoyed another quiet night out of the wind.Read more
