Sierre Scenes

We enjoyed another relaxed morning with Anaïs, Laurent, Michel and Michelle while the boys went to school. We checked out the Chateau Mercier (including the 'poultry yard') and the older parts of Sierre and enjoyed another lunch all together before saying goodbye to the Michels. After a relaxed afternoon, we packed up a picnic dinner to take down to the lake. Meanwhile, Lohan had a party and sleepover at school with his kindergarten class for the end of the year, so we stopped in on our way home and got to enjoy some performances, including an introduction to the song "Chope la banane!" ("Grab the banana!", as in, "Smile!"), an ear worm that would become the anthem of our Swiss mountain riding in days to come.Les mer
