The highest

Contrary to what some people believe the Col d’Iseran actually is the highest paved mountain pass in Europe. And I went over it 💪🏻.
This falls in the category “Why” again, but I do like my extremes. I’ve been to the most Northern point of Europes mainland, the most westerly point (although not by bike), the highest road and crossed the Arctic circle with all thinkable modes of transportation.

I don’t need to be the first, the fastest, the youngest or oldest, but I like to explore the extremities of Europe.Read more
