Malacca

There seems to be at least two ways of spelling this place, but I'm here anyway.

Took a flight down from Penang this morning and explored the place today. There's not loads here, but whereas Penang had British colonial buildings, Melaka has red Dutch colonial buildings.

They also seem to have gone all out on tourism, lots of tourist trap places and a museum for everything! I could choose from history and ethnography, submarine museum, toy museum, democratic government museum, royal Malaysian customs department museum, prison museum, train station museum, chitty museum (hopefully not a misspelling), and of course the house of museums.
