PT - Coimbra

I picked up the rental car at Porto airport and started my trip in the morning. My plan is to travel from the north to the south of Portugal in one week. The first stop on my journey is Coimbra.

In Coimbra, I walked around the city center. First, I visited the old church, then I walked until I found the plaza with a famous statue.

Then I went up the hill to see the museum about the observatory tower. A little bit further up, I saw the "New Church," which is also old. 🤣

On the way back to the car, I saw some buildings of the oldest university in Europe, the University of Coimbra, as well as a yellow monument that I believe is called “Jardim da Manga” or something similar.Read more
