Qatar - Souq Waqif / MIA Musseum

I arrived in Qatar early in the morning and had one day to spend in Doha. After checking into my hotel to take a shower and get some sleep, I headed out to explore the city by noon. It was 42 degrees Celsius outside, with a feels-like temperature of 45 degrees.

Due to the heat, the streets were quite empty, but I decided to visit Souq Waqif, the old center of Doha. After walking around a bit, I found the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA). I enjoyed a coffee while sitting next to a large window, where I could admire the landscape of modern Doha.Leggi altro
